Hello fellow Deviants,

Just got back from seeing Speed Racer, and it's a pretty good film (won't have it in my DVD collection but still pretty good). It's got it's good points and bad points, but it's one of those fun films you should see on a slow day.

Good Points - 1. It proves that the CGI doesn't have to be %100 realistic for the movie to be good. 2. The races were awesome and fast. 3. They did a good choice on the casting. 4. Spritle and Chim Chim stole the scene whenever they're on, and very seldom did they push on the cuteness too much. 5. Most importantly it's fun, funny, and it's got heart.

Bad Points (mainly little things) - 1. It feels longer than it actually is, the movie started at 3:30 (including the ads and trailers) and I got out a little before 6pm, meaning the movie itself was under 2 and half hour movie but it felt like it was at least 3 hours. 2. Some points in the movie confused me and made me dizzy: like when the main bad guy "Royalton" tells Speed what will happen to his family and keeps going back and forth to this race in Hawaii (I couldn't tell if it was just a visual of what they were thinking or if it really happened until after the the scene with two were over), and when the Royalton and the Japanese guy were talking and their heads were popping all over the place. 3. I'm surprised this PG rated movie got away with saying "ass" a lot and letting Spritle give Royalton the finger.

It's not getting much love from the critics and it will probably be ignored by next year's academy awards, but ignore them and decide for yourself if the movie is to your liking.

Hello fellow Deviants,

Saw the latest superhero movie last night with some friends, and it was a good old superhero time, but what made movie so good wasn't the famous bad-ass looking battle-suit, the great CGI, nor the sweet fight scenes (not saying those points weren't awesome in the flick). What made the movie great was the man behind the iron mask: Tony Stark.

Your common superhero alias is a young good-hearted but easily pushed around nobody-boy who doesn't want the job of a hero at first but is forced to grow into it by the end of the movie. Tony Stark (in the movie anyways) is an older, smooth, witty, big-business man who loves his booze and easy women, that not only knows it's was his job to fix things, he loved the idea enough to fashion his suit with hot-rod red paint.

This superhero movie is defiantly a breath of fresh air for those tired of the stale cliche most superhero movies go. Also, stay for the credits for one final scene at the end, it's as awesome and bad ass as the star that cameos in this past-credits-scene can make it.

Hello fellow Deviants,

Well after getting royally screwed by AT&T and switching to Charter, I'm finally back on the web! To pass the time with no internet nor cable I been putting my bed room and tv room together, arranging furniture and putting up posters and ornaments of all shapes sizes and colors (It's no quite done yet). I also worked on some photoshop works a bit, but only got one done so far. Anyways, I'm back on the net so lets "Party Hard!!!" *Puts on an Andrew W.K. song*




p.s.......Holy Crap! Look at all the art and messages I have go through in my "Deviantwatch"! I'm gonna be a bit busy for a while.

Hello fellow Deviants,

I mean I'm moving to a new house close to my campus and work by this thrusday. After living in a trailer for a few years, I'm stoked that I'll finally have my own decent sized front yard and back yard. Once Halloween and Christmas comes this year I'm going all out! This also mean I might not have internet for a few days, so I'll be off line a while real soon (I hope it will get me back into my coloring).

Update:Turns out I woun't be getting internet at my new house till Monday. I'll have internet only at my old home by my dad's laptop and I don't know how longer we'll becoming back here. So if you need me before Monday, you will have to call me.

Sad news today, "Ollie Johnson" the last surviving animator of Disney's "Nine Old Men" passed away today at the age of 95. His work as an animator began with the short film "Mickey's Elephant" in 1936, all the way to the last animated feature he worked on "The Fox and The Hound" in 1981.
